Why We Do What We Do

God has given us each one life to live; we desire to make the most of it through each task we perform, each word we speak and each memory we make. Given the many trials and challenges that we've faced as a family, we have a somewhat unique perspective on life. We've learned not how just to survive, but how to thrive in difficult times. We'll share more in the future, but here's how we got started:

The Family Mission Statement

We have family meetings quite often to discuss daily goings on, school or work schedules and just the usual stuff families talk about. A long time ago, we realized it would be helpful to have a mission statement for our young and growing family. Most businesses have them, non-profit organizations have them, so why not our family? After all, we were put on earth for God's purpose, so we should endeavor to live our lives for Him. So for us, a family mission statement was the natural result.

Legacy Maker Challenge: What's your family's mission? Share your thoughts and ideas with us on the blog.

One more thing about mission statements: they need to be reviewed periodically to make sure they're still current.

What will be Your legacy?
