Everyone has a legacy. Whether rich or poor, single or married, every individual will someday leave behind those things for which they will be remembered.
We've purposed in our family to be legacy makers and our desire is to help you create a memorable legacy. Will you join us? We have several easy-to-implement ideas to help; just look for the Legacy Maker activities and challenges throughout the site. We've even made a few of them available to download.

One way that we create memories in our home is to share a historical fact each morning to learn how others have created their own legacy. We'll publish some of more interesting facts below in the feature below.
March 10th, 1748. A life was changed forever on this date. John Newton (1725-1807) was the young captain of a slave ship traveling between North Africa and England. He held little regard for the lives of others.
During a storm which threatened to sink his ship, Newton read from Thomas à Kempis' book Imitation of Christ (1462). The written message convicted Newton of his cruel occupation and his need for a personal savior.
In future years Newton became a pastor and author of hundreds of hymns. One well-known example, Amazing Grace, describes the timeless future when the new heavens and earth are established:>
